Building partnerships that contribute to the greater good and elevate our local communities

We believe in helping to boost the signal of experts in their fields and communities, and we believe in your strategic vision.

Who We Are

Nonbinary Coding started our story in Chicago in 2013, and today we’re based in Vermont, with clients from coast to coast. We’re committed to developing web applications composed with modern development standards and community-driven protocols, for organizations of any size. We stand by the quality and longevity of our work and we work hard to ensure you can do the same.

In much the same way that Nonbinary Coding sees our value in our working relationships as using our perspective, skill set, and experience to facilitate our clients’ success, we believe that we can be an asset to our communities by focusing on ways to support those who advocate for a more just and equitable society. As our business evolves, we are leaning into our commitment to partnerships with organizations who are doing the work in their communities.

Our Values

Transparency

We commit to clear, honest, and accessible communication. This includes open discussions about decisions, challenges, successes, and compensation. Transparency builds trust and allows us to maintain meaningful relationships.

Authenticity

We foster an environment where everyone feels safe and encouraged to be themselves. This means celebrating unique identities, perspectives, and experiences without fear of judgment or the need to conform.

Care

We prioritize our team members' holistic well-being, including their emotional, psychological, and professional needs. We strive to create a workplace where empathy, respect, and mutual aid are paramount, ensuring that everyone feels valued, heard, and supported.

Empathy

We are dedicated to deeply understanding and acknowledging the diverse lived experiences of every person within our organization and beyond. This means actively listening, challenging our own biases, and striving to connect with genuine compassion.
