Exygy is a certified B Corporation that partners with social impact organizations to design and build technology that improves lives. Nonbinary has been a frequent collaborator and partner as the lead developer on many of their projects over the past 4 years, including Here For You Oregon, Prepared Parents, Legal Link, and REDFworkshop.
For all of these projects, Shiloh served as the lead and often times the only developer on the project. The following highlighted projects are discussed in additional detail. Exygy provided project management and design.
Prepared Parents
Serving curated, research-based resources to families and educators.
Prepared Parents translates learning science, psychology and behavioral research into practical support for kids. They offer step-by-step guidance, stories from real families, and relevant editorial content.
Nonbinary Coding merged the Prepared Parents “UNBOXED Resource Center” into their primary website, streamlining both the experience for users to find and consume content, and the process for website editors to create, curate, and serve content. We developed a full rebuild of their resource center, and provided technical consulting for the migration and database architecture to support this new system, as well as the implementation of the database, API, and front-end.
Legal Link
A custom legal referral directory application.
Legal Link is a legal aid nonprofit based in the Bay Area that works to remove barriers to assistance for families living in poverty.
We built a custom integration with SalesForce for this WordPress site, providing a referral finder application to help site users access legal assistance. We also embedded a FlipCause donation system to allow users to make tax-deductible donations and receive automated receipts. Nonbinary Coding provided development, maintenance, and technical support for three years post-launch.
